The same basic assembly method is suitable for common 4-tier and 5-tier stainless steel shelving racks, including perforated shelves and flat shelves, as long as the product uses round stainless steel legs.

Step 1: Check All Parts Before Assembly

After opening the carton, please check whether all parts are complete and whether the number of shelves matches the drawing or instruction sheet. This step helps confirm the correct shelving structure before assembly.

  • Stainless steel round legs: 4 pieces.
  • Hex key wrench: 1 piece.
  • Anti-slip nut wrench: 1 piece.
  • For each shelf: 4 screws, 4 anti-slip nuts, 8 washers, and 4 protective plates.
  • For a 4-tier shelving rack: 16 complete fixing sets in total.
  • For a 5-tier shelving rack: 20 complete fixing sets in total.

Step 2: Pre-Fix the Top and Bottom Shelves

Two people are recommended for assembly. First, take out the top shelf and the bottom shelf. Fix one side of the stainless steel round legs to the top and bottom shelves first. At this stage, the screws only need to be pre-fixed, not fully tightened.

Keeping a small amount of movement space makes it easier to align the middle shelves and install the remaining round legs.

Step 3: Install the Middle Shelves on One Side

After the top and bottom shelves are pre-fixed on one side, place the middle shelves into position. Align the screw holes with the round leg fixing points. Then use screws, anti-slip nuts, washers, and protective plates to pre-fix the shelves on the same side.

Step 4: Fix the Second Stainless Steel Round Leg

After one side is simply fixed, take the second stainless steel round tube and fix the other side of the shelves. Make sure the shelf layers stay level and the screw positions are correctly aligned before tightening.

Step 5: Turn the Shelving Rack Over and Install the Other Side

When both sides are pre-fixed, turn the product over with the fixed side facing down. Follow the same order to install the third stainless steel round tube on one side and the fourth stainless steel round tube on the other side.

Step 6: Tighten All Screws and Finish Assembly

After all shelves and round legs are fixed, tighten all screws firmly. Place the shelving rack in the normal upright position, and the assembly is complete.

Assembly Reminder: With two people and electric tools, one stainless steel shelving rack can usually be assembled in about 7-8 minutes. Please make sure every screw is fully tightened after positioning. Correct tightening is important for the rack structure, stability, and long-term load-bearing performance.
