Specifications, Options & Buying Information

Mobility and splash fit: A mobile worktable with three-sided splash guards combines containment with controlled movement. Wheel material, diameter, brakes, floor thresholds, turning space and the difference between stationary and moving loads must be confirmed before caster selection.
Manufacturer SENFON — factory-direct manufacturer
Buyer type Importers, distributors, wholesalers and project buyers
Customization basis Approved dimensions, material, actual thickness and structure
Production release Confirmed quotation and approved drawing

SENFON manufactures a mobile stainless steel worktable with 3-sided backsplash for routes that also require rear and side splash containment. The caster system is selected from the loaded route, floor, thresholds, brake access and required finished height—not added as a visual option after the table is built. Buyers should define stationary and moving conditions, undershelf retention, splash dimensions, reinforcement, material and KD assembly.

Mobile Splash-Table Specification

Item What to Confirm
Splash guards Rear and both sides with custom heights
Mobility Caster material and diameter selected for the floor
Brakes Quantity and arrangement confirmed for the operating method
Undershelf Full lower shelf with item-retention review
Load conditions Stationary and moving loads specified separately
KD design Connections and caster mounting approved for the project

Mobile Two-Tier Table with Three-Sided Splashbacks

The current reference combines an undershelf, rear and side splashes and configurable casters. The route and parked work position must be approved together.

Configuration point Available reference configuration Confirm before production
Top enclosure Rear plus left/right splashbacks Splash height, side length and access side
Lower storage One undershelf Retaining lip/rail, stored items and movement state
Casters Swivel, fixed-direction, braking, quiet or higher-capacity types may be reviewed Diameter, tread, floor, brake logic and certification need
Structure Full KD reference Caster brackets, shelf retention and post-assembly check

Floor and Thresholds

Provide floor type, gaps, drains and thresholds so wheel diameter and material can be evaluated.

Movement While Loaded

State whether the table moves empty or loaded. Moving loads introduce different stability and retention requirements.

Mobility Changes the Meaning of a Backsplash

A three-sided backsplash protects the rear and side edges when the table is parked, but it can limit access from those sides and increase the overall envelope. The buyer should define the normal working position, travel route and whether the unit docks against a wall. Splash height and side length must be dimensioned, not inferred from a fixed table.

Caster diameter, tread, swivel arrangement and brakes should reflect floor joints, thresholds, cleaning and the expected movement frequency. State whether the unit moves empty or with items on the worktop or shelf. Retaining edges may be needed for mobile storage, but they are optional features requiring approval.

Check Working Height in Both Parked and Mobile Conditions

Caster height changes the frame and finished worktop height. Brake pedals need foot clearance and must not conflict with splash returns or lower shelves. Provide the intended load and route so the complete structure can be reviewed; do not copy a caster rating as the rating of the finished table. KD joints, if used, must also tolerate the defined handling routine.

Route and Splashback Inputs for Quotation

  • Table dimensions and splash heights
  • Floor type, thresholds and travel distance
  • Caster diameter, material and brake arrangement
  • Stationary load, moving load and stored items
  • Material, KD scope, quantity and destination

Use the dimensions guide to coordinate worktop height after caster diameter and splash returns are fixed.

Route Test for a Splash-Controlled Mobile Table

The table should be assessed moving and parked, with its true overall envelope.

  • Measure thresholds, drains, turning radius and doorway clearances.
  • Check brake access without contact with splash returns.
  • Confirm finished work height after caster selection.
  • Define whether the table moves empty or loaded and add restraints only when approved.

Securing Casters and Splashbacks for Export

Casters and brake pedals should be isolated from polished panels, and long splash edges need bend protection. Material remains limited to the grade approved for the actual operating environment.

Mobile Splash-Table Questions

Do all four casters need brakes?

The brake arrangement depends on operating practice and stability requirements; it must be specified.

Can the table move while loaded?

Only after the moving load, center of gravity, shelf retention and caster capacity are reviewed.

The drawing should state whether the station is parked before use and which casters are braked, because splash containment does not make an unbraked mobile table stable.

Surface, Undershelf and Caster Checks

Visible surfaces, welds, backsplash transitions, undershelf connections and caster mounting points are checked against the approved drawing. Caster diameter, brake arrangement and stated load are selected from the route and floor. Site sanitation requirements must be provided by the buyer when they exceed the agreed product specification.
