Specifications, Options & Buying Information
SENFON manufactures this mobile stainless steel 2-tier worktable with caster systems matched to the operating environment. Brake, silent-running and heavy-duty wheel options are reviewed with the route, floor, load distribution, center of gravity, shelf retention and finished worktop height. The approved KD configuration supports export packing and serviceable caster replacement; its connections and stated load are checked within the agreed order-inspection scope.
Mobile 2-Tier Table Specification
| Item | What to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Upper level | Reinforced stainless steel preparation top |
| Lower level | One full undershelf |
| Casters | Material, diameter and capacity selected by application |
| Brakes | Two, four or another approved arrangement |
| Loads | Stationary and moving conditions stated separately |
| Construction | Full KD structure with reinforced caster mounting |
Current Mobile 2-Tier Caster Arrangement
The available reference commonly shows two swivel casters and two swivel casters with brakes, while wheel diameter, tread and brake count can be customized after the route is known.
| Configuration point | Available reference configuration | Confirm before production |
|---|---|---|
| Typical arrangement | Two swivel + two braked swivel casters | Whether that pattern fits steering and parking needs |
| Wheel options | Quiet, floor-sensitive or higher-capacity wheels may be reviewed | Material, diameter, temperature, floor and documentation |
| Storage | One full undershelf | Container retention and whether movement occurs loaded |
| Top/frame | Reinforced top and KD reference | Actual reinforcement, brackets, connections and finished height |
When Mobility Adds Real Value
Choose Mobility for a Real Workflow
Use casters when equipment must be repositioned for cleaning, flexible production or service—not only as a visual option.
Control Items on the Shelf
If the table moves while loaded, stored items may require lips, rails or other retention details.
Specify the Route, Not Only the Caster Diameter
Floor condition, drainage channels, thresholds and turning space determine the practical caster arrangement. The buyer should state whether all casters swivel, which wheels require brakes and whether directional control is needed for longer routes. Wheel material and diameter must be reviewed against noise, floor protection, cleaning and operating temperature.
The lower shelf changes how a mobile table behaves because stored items can shift during movement. Provide container dimensions and state whether rails, lips or removable restraints are required. A shelf arrangement safe for a stationary table should not automatically be approved for transport while loaded.
Preserve the Required Working Height
Caster overall height is part of the finished table height. The frame and leg length should therefore be calculated after the wheel is selected. Material grade, top and shelf thickness, tube specification and KD connections remain project-specific. The finished table's load cannot be inferred from an individual wheel catalogue rating.
For quotation comparison, record caster model or approved performance requirements, overall wheel height, brake arrangement and replacement availability. Keep mobile and fixed versions under separate item codes so the finished working height and frame construction are not confused.
Caster and Load Inputs for Quotation
- Overall dimensions and top function
- Floor type and movement route
- Caster diameter, material and brake requirement
- Stationary and moving loads
- Shelf retention, material, thickness, quantity and destination
Use the KD guide only after the required caster brackets, shelf retention and operating route are known.
Caster, Height and Loaded-Movement Checks
An individual wheel rating is not the capacity of the finished table.
- Confirm wheel data and mounting pattern from the selected caster.
- Measure final work height and table level after installation.
- Test brakes on the actual or representative floor.
- Inspect shelf retention and frame behaviour under the defined use case.
Packing a KD Table with Separate Casters
Wheels, fasteners and brackets should be grouped by model and kept away from finished surfaces. The approved KD configuration is trial-assembled and checked against its drawing and stated load within the agreed inspection scope. The packing drawing records the ordered package dimensions so logistics planning uses the actual configuration.
Mobile Worktable Questions
Can this replace a fixed 2-tier table?
It can serve similar preparation and storage functions, but mobility changes the load, braking and stability requirements.
Can the caster arrangement be customized?
Yes. The final arrangement should follow floor conditions, movement pattern and required stability.
Caster Selection and KD Connection Checks
Caster type, diameter, brake position, load distribution, shelf retention and finished height are selected from the actual route and use. SENFON can trial-assemble the KD structure and check alignment and movement within the agreed inspection scope. Structural equivalence or controlled-environment suitability is not claimed without a documented test or component specification.
