Specifications, Options & Buying Information

Structure summary: A 3-tier stainless steel worktable combines one preparation top with two lower shelves. It is designed for commercial kitchens that need more organized storage within the same floor footprint. The key purchasing decision is not simply “one more shelf”: buyers must confirm the clear height between levels, the items stored on each shelf, access for cleaning and the structure required for the intended load.

When a 3-Tier Worktable Is the Better Choice

SENFON manufactures this 3-tier stainless steel worktable for buyers who need two lower storage levels beneath one preparation surface. The middle and bottom shelves can be planned around trays, containers or cookware rather than divided into arbitrary equal spaces. For a useful quotation, confirm shelf clearances, leg profile, flat or backsplash top, component-level material and thickness, reinforcement, load distribution and KD packing.

SENFON manufactures this core model for importers, distributors, wholesalers, foodservice suppliers and commercial kitchen project buyers. Square-leg and round-leg structures, flat tops and rear backsplashes, custom dimensions and export-oriented KD construction can be reviewed against the approved specification. Available 3-Tier Structures and Shelf-Spacing References

This model uses one worktop plus two lower shelves. The available size families resemble the two-tier range, but buyers must also approve both clear shelf openings because the extra level changes usable storage height.

Configuration point Available reference configuration Confirm before production
Square legs, flat top 1000/1200/1500/1800 × 700 or 800 × 800/850/900 mm Middle- and bottom-shelf elevations, stored-item heights and cleaning access
Square legs, backsplash Available square-leg sizes plus a commonly referenced 100 mm rear backsplash Overall height, rear return and alignment with adjacent equipment
Round legs, flat top 800×500, 1100×500; 1000/1200/1500/1800×600; and 1200/1500/1800×800 mm at 800/850/900 mm Round-tube specification and both clear openings
Round legs, backsplash Available round-leg sizes plus a commonly referenced 100 mm backsplash Final shelf spacing, backsplash and packing division

Plan Shelf Spacing Around Real Storage Items

The middle shelf creates two storage openings below the worktop. Equal spacing may look orderly, but it is not automatically the most useful layout. A buyer may need a taller lower opening for bins and a shallower upper opening for trays, or the reverse. Provide the height of the tallest item for each level and allow practical hand clearance for loading and removal. The drawing should show both shelf positions and the resulting clear heights, not only the overall table height.

Cleaning access must also be considered. More vertical storage means more horizontal surfaces and tighter openings. If the planned containers cannot be removed easily or the shelf gap prevents routine wiping, the extra tier becomes inconvenient. For wet or hygiene-sensitive areas, review material, shelf edges, corner details and drainage or cleaning procedures as part of the project specification.

Reference Dimensions and Project Alignment

The current product family lists common lengths of 1000, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm for many configurations. Common depths include 500, 600, 700 and 800 mm depending on leg style and model, while finished working heights include 800, 850 and 900 mm. Backsplash models commonly add about 100 mm at the rear. These are reference options and should not be copied into a purchase order without checking aisle width, adjacent equipment and the required shelf openings.

In a complete kitchen line, match the finished worktop height, front edge, depth, backsplash and finish with nearby sinks and cabinets. The worktable dimensions and project specification guide provides a fuller RFQ framework and explains why length × depth × height must be stated clearly.

2-Tier vs. 3-Tier Worktable

Buying factor 2-tier worktable 3-tier worktable
Lower storage One full undershelf Middle and bottom shelves
Clear height More open height for taller items Two shorter openings that require planning
Organization Simple general storage Better separation of smaller items
Cleaning access Fewer shelf surfaces and wider opening More shelf area and tighter access
Best specification basis Overall size plus required undershelf clearance Overall size plus clear height for both storage levels

Buyers who need one large lower opening should compare the 2-tier stainless steel worktable with undershelf. The 3-tier model is the stronger choice when separating smaller items matters more than accommodating tall equipment below the top.

Legs, Backsplash and Worktop Construction

Square-tube or round-tube legs

Square and round legs can both support a commercial worktable when the complete structure is properly specified. SENFON's available project guidance commonly references 38 × 38 mm square tube or approximately Ø43 mm round tube for balanced standard proportions, subject to size and load. Confirm tube wall thickness, finish, shelf connections and leg spacing. On a three-tier model, the alignment of both undershelves is especially important because each connection affects assembly and finished geometry.

Flat top or rear backsplash

Select a flat top for island positions and open work zones. Use a rear backsplash for wall-side layouts where the back edge needs to contain debris or align with nearby equipment. The purchase specification should state backsplash height and return depth. If several products sit in one line, review their drawings together rather than specifying each rear edge independently.

Material, thickness and reinforcement

SUS201 and SUS304 are the standard production material options for this product family. SUS304 is generally preferred for wetter and higher-grade commercial kitchen environments, while SUS201 can support cost-sensitive general ranges. The available 0.7–2.0 mm range must be translated into actual thickness by component: top sheet, middle shelf, bottom shelf and tube wall should be stated separately. The worktop's backing and reinforcement also affect flatness, noise and operating feel, so grade and thickness alone are not a complete comparison.

KD Design for a Product with Two Shelves

A KD 3-tier worktable has more shelf connections than a 2-tier model. The packing plan can be compact, but the approved structure should make shelf identification, fastener placement and assembly order clear. Buyers should confirm whether the middle and bottom shelves use the same connection, whether components are marked, what instructions are supplied and how the finished table is checked after assembly.

Carton packing is the documented standard. Wooden-frame or wooden-crate protection may be selected for LCL shipments, mixed container loading, large worktables or routes with greater handling risk. Read the KD worktable guide for B2B export orders when comparing welded and flat-pack supply.

Quotation Checklist for a 3-Tier Worktable

  • Overall length × depth × finished working height
  • Height and dimensions of items planned for the upper and lower storage openings
  • Required clear height between the worktop, middle shelf and bottom shelf
  • Flat top or backsplash, including backsplash height and return
  • Square or round legs, tube size, wall thickness and finish
  • Material grade and actual thickness for the top, both shelves and tubes
  • Intended task, equipment placement and any defined distributed or point load
  • Quantity, KD or welded requirement, packing, destination and trade term

Buyer Questions About the 3-Tier Model

Are both lower shelves included?

Yes. The three-tier configuration includes a middle shelf and a bottom shelf below the worktop.

Can the two shelf openings have different clear heights?

Custom shelf positioning can be reviewed. Provide the stored-item dimensions so the approved drawing can show the useful clear height for both openings.

Does a third tier automatically make the table heavy duty?

No. The number of shelves describes storage layout; the required load for the selected configuration depends on sheet and tube thickness, reinforcement, span, connections and load distribution.

Can the product be shipped knock-down?

Yes, a KD screw-assembly structure is available. Final connection and packing details should be confirmed for the selected size and order.

Three-Tier Assembly and Load Review

Two undershelves increase storage density but also add connection and clearance requirements. Shelf spans, reinforcement, leg positions, actual thickness and load distribution are fixed on the approved drawing. SENFON can check assembly, level, dimensions and shelf alignment within the agreed order-inspection scope.
