Specifications, Options & Buying Information
SENFON manufactures a stainless steel worktable with 3 drawers and over-shelf storage as a multi-zone preparation workstation. Drawer contents, worktop equipment and frequently used upper-shelf items are mapped on one elevation so reach, clearance and access do not conflict. The quotation should identify usable drawer sizes, over-shelf depth and spacing, undershelf, uprights, reinforcement, material, actual thickness and KD connections.
Drawer and Over-Shelf Specification
| Item | What to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Drawers | Three-drawer reference layout; internal sizes confirmed |
| Over-shelf | Tier count and depth customized |
| Clearances | Vertical spaces matched to stored items |
| Worktop | Reinforced surface with equipment clearances |
| Lower frame | Open frame, shelf or approved structure |
| Construction | Full KD arrangement with labeled hardware |
Three Drawers, Undershelf and Multi-Level Upper Storage
The reference station combines a row of three drawers, a lower shelf and an upper shelf system. Although two, three or four upper levels may be reviewed, each tier count needs its own reach and KD drawing.
| Configuration point | Available reference configuration | Confirm before production |
|---|---|---|
| Drawers | Three in the current reference | Internal size, contents, runners and access side |
| Over-shelf | Two/three/four tiers may be customized | Primary tier count, clear gaps, shelf depth and overall height |
| Lower shelf | Undershelf included in the reference | Stored items and knee/service clearance |
| Material/structure | SUS201/SUS304; 0.7–1.5 mm available reference; full KD | Actual thickness and connection by component |
Protect the Work Zone Between Drawers and Shelves
Separate Fast and Slow Access
Put frequently used small tools in drawers and lighter supplies on the upper tiers.
Protect Worktop Clearance
Provide the full operating height of any countertop equipment, including open lids and service access.
Separate Hand-Level and Eye-Level Storage
Drawers should hold frequently handled small items, while over-shelves can hold containers or supplies that benefit from visibility. List the intended contents for each zone. This prevents drawer depth from being copied blindly and keeps heavy or rarely used items from being placed at an unsuitable reach height.
The lowest over-shelf must leave enough clearance for preparation, countertop equipment and cleaning. Uprights should not block drawer access or the operator's main work zone. Show shelf depths, vertical gaps and drawer-bank position on one elevation so the upper and lower storage systems are reviewed together.
Coordinate Connections and Packed Components
Drawer slides need accurate alignment, while a KD over-shelf needs repeatable upright connections. The worktop reinforcement must accommodate both. Material grade and actual thickness are confirmed by component, and packing should isolate drawer fronts, long uprights and shelf faces. “Three drawers” remains the displayed configuration; alternative counts should be quoted as separate drawings rather than silently substituted.
For quotation comparison, request internal drawer sizes, shelf clearances and upright locations rather than comparing only overall dimensions. Keep any change in drawer count or shelf count under a revised drawing so the available product and delivered configuration remain consistent.
Drawer and Over-Shelf RFQ Checklist
- Worktable dimensions and operator side
- Drawer internal sizes, contents and orientation
- Over-shelf tier count, depth and clear height
- Worktop equipment and expected loads
- Material, KD scope, quantity and destination
Use the KD guide when drawers, uprights and shelf levels are separated for export packing.
Three Access Zones Must Work Together
Drawer, worktop and upper-shelf access should be tested as one operator envelope.
- Check drawer opening under the worktop task zone.
- Measure worktop clearance below the first upper shelf.
- Verify sight lines and reach to every shelf level.
- Assemble uprights, drawers and lower shelf before the final stability check.
Packing Drawers, Uprights and Shelf Levels
Drawer boxes require restraint, long uprights require bend support, and each shelf level should be labelled. The factory-verified shipping-volume advantage is retained for this KD structure, while the actual packed dimensions are recorded for the approved order.
Combined Storage Questions
Must the product have exactly three drawers?
The current model uses three drawers, but another layout can be reviewed as a custom project.
Can shelf spacing change?
Yes. The approved drawing should list every vertical clearance.
The approval drawing should mark the operator's primary side and the tallest worktop item so drawer opening and shelf reach are checked from the same position.
Corrosion-Resistant Structure for Daily Commercial Use
For the approved SUS304 or SUS201 construction and component-level thickness schedule, SENFON checks surface finish, cleanability and structural performance against the intended daily use. The full KD structure also reduces shipping volume and freight cost compared with the corresponding assembled shipment.
