Commercial Stainless Steel Waste Collection Table with Scrap Hole
This stainless steel waste collection table uses a scrap opening to direct waste into an approved bin below the worktop. SENFON customizes the opening, collar, bin clearance, backsplash, table dimensions, reinforcement, material, actual thickness and welded or KD structure for commercial preparation and sorting workflows.
- Integrated scrap opening
- Custom hole size and position
- Configured bin clearance
- Optional splash protection
- Workflow-based fabrication
PRODUCT DETAILS
Specifications, Options & Buying Information
SENFON manufactures stainless steel waste collection tables for dish-sorting and food-preparation workflows. The scrap opening is sized and positioned around the actual waste stream, selected bin, operator side and removal route; it is not a generic hole added after the frame is designed. The quotation should define opening geometry, edge or chute detail, top profile, splash guards, below-top clearance, material, actual thickness and KD or welded construction.
Scrap-Hole Table Specification
| Item | What to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Scrap opening | Shape, diameter or dimensions confirmed from the waste stream |
| Opening position | Placed for the operator side and container below |
| Bin interface | Clearance, removal direction and whether the bin is supplied |
| Top and splashes | Flat or project-specific profile with optional rear/side guards |
| Frame | Feet, undershelf or supports arranged around bin access |
| Material | Grade, finish and actual thickness confirmed by component |
Available Waste-Table Layout and Size Families
The current reference uses a deep-drawn round scrap opening above a waste container and explicitly separates this product from a sink table.
| Configuration point | Available reference configuration | Confirm before production |
|---|---|---|
| Common sizes | 1000/1200/1500/1800 × 600 or 700 × 800 mm | Final table size and line alignment |
| Opening | Deep-drawn round scrap opening is the available reference | Diameter, center coordinates, collar/chute and waste type |
| Base | Square or round legs; KD or welded construction | Bin-clear removal route and lower supports |
| Top | With or without backsplash | Dry/wet waste path, splash direction and cleaning access |
Match the Scrap Opening to the Waste Path
Match the Container
Provide the exact bin size, rim height, wheels and pull-out direction. A generic opening can interfere with removal or leave gaps.
Control the Waste Path
Confirm whether scraps are dry, wet, sharp or bulky so the opening edge, splash protection and cleaning access can be reviewed.
Engineer the Opening Around the Waste Stream
Dry packaging scraps, wet food waste and bulky offcuts behave differently as they pass through an opening. The buyer should state the material handled, typical piece size and whether a removable collar, chute or edge treatment is required. The opening must remain far enough from folded edges and reinforcement to preserve the intended top structure. Its location should be dimensioned from fixed table edges, not marked approximately on a photograph.
The bin must clear legs, braces, undershelves and the floor during removal. Provide rim height, wheel height and handle projection as well as overall bin dimensions. If the bin is sourced locally, the quotation should clearly exclude it while the drawing uses the approved interface dimensions. Wet waste may also require additional splash and cleaning decisions; drainage is not assumed unless shown.
Review Cleaning and Operator Safety
The cut edge, underside of the opening and surrounding worktop should be accessible for cleaning. State whether the operator pushes waste from one direction or works from multiple sides, because this affects guards and opening position. Actual stainless steel grade and thickness are confirmed by component. No universal hygiene, load or corrosion claim should replace the approved application and cleaning process.
Drawing Inputs for a Waste Collection Table
- Table and bin dimensions
- Opening size, shape and center position
- Operator side and bin removal direction
- Top profile, splash guards and lower structure
- Material, thickness, quantity, packing and destination
Use the OEM/ODM drawing review for a non-standard opening, collar, chute or locally sourced bin interface.
Verify the Opening Against the Selected Bin
The opening and container must be inspected as one interface even when the bin is sourced locally.
- Measure opening diameter and center from fixed edges.
- Check bin rim, wheels, handles and pull-out clearance.
- Inspect the underside and drawn edge for cleaning access.
- Confirm that no sink bowl or drain is implied unless shown on the drawing.
Separating the Opening and Frame During Packing
The formed opening and worktop edges need impact protection, while legs and hardware are restrained away from polished faces. KD or welded packing is selected from the final dimensions and route.
Scrap-Hole Table Questions
Is the waste bin included?
Only if the quotation explicitly includes it; otherwise provide the buyer-selected bin dimensions.
Can the opening be moved?
Yes. Its size and position should be fixed from the operating side and bin location.
Scrap-Opening Fabrication and Order Scope
The scrap opening, collar, bin interface, reinforcement and cleaning access are manufactured from the approved drawing. Material grade, actual thickness, leg structure, backsplash and welded or KD construction are confirmed per order. Any bin or accessory is included only when it appears in the quotation.
